National Parks & Some Activities
One of many tourist attractions in South Korea would be Jarisan the biggest national park in South Korea. South Korea has 3,358 islands; 30 of the islands have people living on them. Quite a large amount of the South Korean population dwells there. South Korean national parks cover 7% of of the land that are reserved for tourism and preserved for wildlife. An example would be the Bakhansan Nat'I that not only has a nature preserve, but also has historical sites and monasteries, as well as temples that are all available for tourist exploration. Some of South Korea's major landmarks is Mt. Seorak, the tallest mountain that could be located in Taebeack that has three major trails for hiking and cable cars for those who choose to sit and enjoy the scenery. It's best to go in the autumn time while the leaves are red and orange, which intensifies the scenery.
The garden of a thousand Buddhas is lined with 1,000 Buddhas (and a few other religious symbols). Construction for this garden started back in 2000 when a man decided to use an empty piece of land he saw and turn it into a garden for Buddha. this garden is still being constructed to this day!! the garden can be located in Montana Jocko Valley.
Starting in 1993, South Korea started their technology boom, leading them to be one of the most advanced countries in the world today!
